More InformationTo Whom it May Concern,
I am a music composition graduate from the University of Delaware with a minor in Music Management Studies. Throughout my career I have orchestrated for brass choir, woodwind quartet, saxophone quartet, marching/pep band, full symphony orchestra, Jazz Band, SATB Choirs, and more. Out of all of these ensemble however, arranging/composing for marching/pep band has always been my all-time favorite. Having participated in marching band since 6th grade and throughout my college career, I have had the experience to work with some incredible teachers in the marching arts world. I have studied drill design with Heidi I. Sarver (one of the lead clinicians in the George N. Parks Drum Major Academy and Director of Athletic Bands and the University of Delaware), marching percussion arranging/composition with Jim Ancona (Front Ensemble arranger/caption head for Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps and marching percussion instructor at the University of Delaware), and even have had the chance to intern and work alongside with instructors/members of the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps during their 2017 season. Furthermore, I have been writing marching band/drum corps arrangements since high school days and continue to arrange charts for the University of Delawares' pep band. My primary instrument is the Saxophone, and I have extensive experience working in music notation softwares including Finale and Sibelius. Additionally, I am an intermediate piano/trumpet player, which guides and develops my creative compositions/arrangements at the keys and on brass instruments. I look forward to working with you and hope that you choose me for the job!
